Ok,
Kelmak's Spear has been nerfed. But, it's still a very good card in my opinion. This deck takes the best of what stays from it after the nerf.
The deck is filled with heroes and relics. Heroes will bring
Kelmak's Spear back, relics can bring some heroes back, especially
Star-Reader Severin or
Nico, Urban Hunter with you frenzy with something. As we play a lot of relics and want to be aggressive,
Rat Cage is a must have.
Talking about frenzy,
Cabal Scavenger and
Pitfall Trap are good enablers. Those two also help trigger
Tormented Crown and
The Throne Room which you want to activate as soon as possible so you can get the rewards. Once
Tormented Crown is "flipped", each damage dealt or taken makes you draw a card, while
The Throne Room invokes
Daraka, Queensguard which often swings a game.
Nomnom's Big Pan is a good piece of removal for large units and can also be used to buff your whole board when you discard something. The discard enablers are
Whispering Wind,
Pitfall Trap, and
Darkwater Vines which can grant +4/+4 to you whole board if triggered while the pan is in play.
While marketing, look for
Vara, Vengeance-Seeker to pop any aegis on the board (Hooru Aegis is a bad match-up),
Saloon Massacre if the opponent is quicker than you are,
Krull, Xumuc Occultist to bring a unit back from your void if you have excess mana, or finally
Lethrai Lobotomy if you face a single problematic unit. You might want to sacrifice your
Pitfall Trap to it.
