The goal is to Twinning Ritual to get two Dreads because when played together they return each other from the void. Then you just mix in some inspires and permanent unblockable from Secret Passage. A common strategy against aggro decks is lose quickly to clockroach another day.

Journey Guide is the best card in the deck, mulligan aggressively for it and don't be afraid to use dark return on it.

You like strategize over Second Sight in here? You'd think with the crowns, echoes, and inspires the second sight would be more beneficial

Unquestionably yes, I don't think they're even competing for a spot. Strategize is functionally card draw - you're usually bottoming something you really don't care about such as an unplayable Xo, an echo card that you'll never have the spare power to cast, or a late game power card. Second Sight is an inspire/echo synergy card so I did consider replacing some Twinning Rituals for it, but experience with it in past inspire/echo decks has left me underwhelmed. It also doesn't help you play more of the shiny new Defiance card Dread.
