Initiate basically never survives now, since Snowballs are everywhere. I swapped them out for Sabotage, and I feel like I'm doing a lot better in this midrange-control meta.

So I've been playing with this deck a lot on ladder, I've decided I like stinger better than Deleph. The card is good don't get me wrong, but I think the problem this deck has is when the opponents decks start going bigger. This list is at it's best when it curves out applying pressure and efficient removal every turn to keep the opponent on the back foot and secure victory. Deleph just screws around too much. It barely does any damage, it gives both of players cards they can't really use. I don't know, just been more unimpressed with it than anything. Sure, Stinger is worse after turn 2/3, but you're already playing a list with initiate of the sands, meaning you're trying to profit off those early turns as much as possible, and stinger does that better than anything else in the slot. Anyways, just my 2 cents.

I think Amaran Stinger is trash every time besides turn 2 or turn 3 on the play in certain matchups, and Deleph has been consistently great. Also super sick with Teacher and an excellent target for the throw-away spells from both sites (Scare and Threaten).

I hadn't considered the interactions with Scare and Threaten. That's pretty cool, actually. Will give it a run.
