Unleashed is the new thing. So, from the beginning:
Deck theme is Dinosaurs. Finned Herbasaur and Valley Spring work wonderfully together for the Unleashed cards, especially the dinos. Valley Whisperer also gives your giants Unleashed, and provides more dinos. And all the Unleashed units provide giants in the void to make Valles Rex a terribly strong and quick surprise.
If Valley Whisperer is out, your Blurred Stygimoloch costs 3 and has Unleashed. And multiple ambushing Valles Rexes is GG. If you have 10 power and a Valley Spring up with Carnivorous Terror in your hand, you drop a 10/10, 8/8, 6/6 and a 4/4 in one turn... Most dinos here have overwhelm to pump him up even further as well. You have 2 Valley Springs up?? Opponent can just leave because you're dropping one-cost fat boys.
I wanted Alhed, Mount Breaker in here to double everyone's stats, and to place a boosted Unleashed unit back into the deck. But I chose Valles Rex over him, only for the simple fact that eventually you can have him cheap and has ambush, which can surprise and win. And even more, he's a dinosaur so benefits from the big bonuses from Sheltered Valley, making him massive. And he also pumps Carnivorous Terror. Just massive beefy monsters
Of course you can switch Stygimoloch or Valles Rex for him, but I like these 2 options personally. However I change my decks frequently based on the meta. This works for me for now.
Good luck bros
I think most people quickly realize what synergies are possible in Dino decks, but they have a hard time figuring out what to focus on and what to cut. I don't think your deck solves any of these problems.
Hence, the goal of making a fun, attractive, and consistent build, is the true holy grail. Let's dig deeper...
- "Valley Whisperer also gives your giants Unleashed, and provides more dinos". Having "more Dinos" is not good, as it just makes the deck bigger and more unpredictable. You want a small deck where you draw the cards you want, not a bigger deck with random draws. Also, including non-Dino Giant cards hurts the synergy. However, if Whisperer is truly your deck's theme, then you can keep her. However, you should view the extra Dinos she puts in your deck as a drawback that helps balance her power.
- Where's the removal? I don't see any spells/relics that can deal with enemy threats. No Polymorph or Trials and Tribulations? Due to the Minotaur meta with lots of Endurance Units, 4 x Permafrost might be too much...but should it be completely absent? Also, it's a Relic-heavy meta, so a card like Dismantle, which is Inscribe + removal might be worthy of consideration.
- Mindbroken Cobbler can also help protect your copies of Valley Spring. Additionally, it's Overwhelm skill synergizes with Carnivorous Terror.
I would get rid of Seek, Wares, Dunehill, Rex, and testplay it until I found the right streamlined ratio of cards.
Happy deckbuilding!
