A variation on my original
Copper Killers deck. The main mechanics are mostly the same so go there for a breakdown on card choices and how to use the deck. There are two main differences here:
-
Wasteland Broker instead of
Ebon Dune Smuggler: Really great merchant that allows you to put 4 copies of important card in your deck. Also it has no influence requirements is a decent blocker. I really like this because sometimes
Eremot's Machinations is a dead draw because you dont have anything to rez with it. This allows you to time your machinations when you know you have enough things in your void. Plus it allows you to play multiple machinations in succession. Other good choices to get from broker are
Hermit Gardener and
Gnash, Desert Prince.
-
Saber-Tooth Prideleader in the extra space putting machinations in market: A meta pick. This guy is great. Anti-aggro and more relic removal, which I like because I have seen so many relic strategies being played recently. Other alternatives could be
Ayan, the Abductor or
Ubsat the Savior or
Sandstorm Titan if you don't have the expansion for Prideleader.
This isn't a strictly better version of the first deck, they both have their strengths but I think in current meta this performs a little bit better.
