I didn't like the
West-Wind Heralds in mrnotime's rank 1 list (
Rank 1 Windy Peaks) so all I did was change the 3 heralds for
Jotun Feast-Caller and slap a
Rizahn, Greatbow Master and
Molot & Nakova in the market. All credit for the deck should go to him since he basically opened my FTP eyes to the glory that is FJP peak and also I'm very bad at brewing.
Feastcallers are very good units that demand 2 sources of removal ASAP or the card advantage gets out of control. All your units are very good when copied so if one of them survives you start the howling peak value train.
Rhizan's 3 damage is very good against enemy sites and fantastic vs aggro decks where the lightning helix gets you out of the red zone.
M&N are a massive threat. They end games incredibly fast, nuke everything with the
Kaleb's Favor off
Howling Peak and are very hard to remove.
I've considered moving 1 Bore to the market but deciding what to cut is really hard. You'd think the easy decision would be to cut banner but this deck requires FFFJJPPP influence and since you play 8 merchants and mirror them so often having a source of F and P that can enter prepared in the market is incredibly good and helps the deck function a lot better than it should.
Currently on rank 11 with the deck. Which speaks volumes about its power, because frankly I'm awful.
EDIT: make that rank 6!
EDIT: I'm hovering between 6 and 10 so I'm going to stop editing this now. Not like anyone is reading this anyway.
Rizahn is really hard to replace because he fulfills several roles, he can snipe sites aided by snowball, takes out creatures and stabilizes vs aggro.
The question i have is, what do you take from market, round 3 and you only have a Jennev merchant, dont need the power, and are unsure on what the opponent are doing ?
When in doubt, take Peak.
M&N you only fetch when you want to end the game.
Rizahn and Burn them All vs enemy sites, depending on which one you think they'll play.
you run 8 merchants and peak casts mirror immage, think ahead but not too far ahead, you'll get more chances to acces the market.
<3
Really like the look of the deck though, gonna give it a whirl tomorrow. Nice brew :)
And yeah. 8 merchants is what makes the deck work. They fix influence, generate lots of value and get you your haymakers.
Also, the FP smuggler has very crappy stats. If anything I'd run the FJ one.
