Feln deck I used to get to Masters in February. I thought about making a clean version without all the edits I've made during my climb, but I thought it might be more informative for everyone if I just left them up.
The strategy is to aggressively achieve card advantage and reactively stabilize the board. We do this by attacking the opponent's hand with discard, protecting our own hand by giving ourselves Aegis, and by playing lots of removal and sticky units. The overall game plan is solid, but I'm still honing the deck.
The cards I'm 100% on are Eilyn's Favor, Feed the Hecaton, Shrivel, Vara's Favor (only a 2-of seems like the sweet spot), Display of Survival, Direwood Pack, Ziat, and Sashenka. The main thing I go back-and-forth on is Primal vs. Shadow market. Both have merit and I think the Shadow market is better overall, but I think the opportunity to get freebie self-aegis via Mistveil Drake is better for this deck specifically.
The main reason to play this deck is the mana base. It's fast and very rarely bricks. Direwood Pack is both a wincon and fixing, most definitely the best inscribe card in Expedition now that Stormhalt Plate is gone.
Anyhoo, it got me to Masters faster than all but 19 other people this season, so I thought I would share.
Feel free to chime in with any thoughts or opinions. This thing is still very much a work in progress.
