Unleashed Spire

Spire Shadows decks always have a place in my heart. It's a wonderful way for unappreciated cards to shine. And I've seen a lot lately with a third color splash to take advantage of Helio or Black Book or Arcanum's True Heart. And those are fine, but they're less consistent because of that 3rd color.

So here's a spire deck with two colors that has been extra consistent in Gauntlet (and some casual games for the funsies).

Most of the list is standard Spire:
We have 12 market access cards to get Spire ASAP.
We have 12 cards to dig for optimized creatures.
We have 10 cards to help control the enemy hand and board to survive the first few turns. (Plus Display of Will, but that's better for digging against the AI)
And 16 cards that benefit heavily from a Spire cast, and further benefit from Valley Whisperer.
And 25 power, 64% of which is dual. (so casting Time Etchings for market or Display of Will is never a problem)

Valley Whisperer isn't required for this deck to pop off, but it always feels fun.
Xenan Temple is excellent against the revenge decks, and is worth it if you get Xenan Augury and/or Xenan Initiation cast before the site dies.
Krogar, Burdened Hero is there cause he's good, flex spot if you like something better. Has been Azindel, Revealed in the past, but always felt win-more. (But sometimes that feels good in Gauntlet)
Through The Unknown is void retrieval. My current favorite despite less accessibility in the market because of fast speed. Can easily be Xenan Adept, Cuno, Chronomancer or Excavate, whatever you like best to get Valley Whisperer or a unleashed Lumen Defender that has been through a Xenan Initiation.
