My
Spire Shadows deck.
Pretty consistently is able to cast Spire on Turn 4. Then the game plan is to ramp and grab
Kairos, Grand Champion and burn them out, or just overwhelm them with huge, cheap creatures.
Arach, Razorshaper is insane in the deck. Should probably be running 4, but I find you only really want to draw one once you are going off.
Lumen Defender and
Gentle Grazer are here to help stabilize. Defender is a good blocker if you somehow haven’t cast Spire by 5, and then as a 5/5 that gains you 5 for 1 life is fantastic.
Dizo, Cabal Racketeer I have gone back and forth on, am currently running 4 because the ability is excellent, the ability can help break thru a board stall and he can also attack thru it b/c he is unblockable.
Riva, Crimson Blur is an insane addition. 5/5 flying charge for 2 that nets you 10 power if you use the summon ability to go face.
Azindel, the Wayfinder is here to help ramp along with
High Prophet of Sol, which is a nice combo with
Eager Offering. Prophet and Offering are two cards I’m considering cutting, along with going down to 2 Dizo, but need to do more testing. Offering I think is the only card that is triggering Prophet right now, so might not be worth it to run it.
Market could use some work. Most likely going to add another 2 drop and cut the
Nahid's Distillation, we are usually going to Market for the draw 7.
Would love any thoughts from the Spire experts out there.
I've actually won most of the games where my Spire has been discarded from my hand, and these guys have helped.
I'm finding the grazer a little too greedy on time influence and sometimes can't play it, so thinking of swapping them out for something. I'm not usually hurting for power though, so am unsure as to what.
I kept the Eager Offerings for the draw.
