Information

In top 100 and climbing with this Praxis Charge deck, but don't be fooled. First, this is a very average deck. Secondly, it's also hardly a Praxis deck, but more of a mono-fire deck masquerading as a two faction deck.

This deck has 16 chargers and 8 ambush units, which makes for a lot of surprise and aggressive attacks. Your removal is atrocious, so you need to be aggressive and win by getting around them. You'll often have to set yourself up to win by racing and sacrifice units into their board in order to get their life low.

You will also often live or die by whether you draw Dashing Scoundrel and/or Ankle Cutter. With them, you can kill Black Book, Pit Boss, Furious Compulsion, and other cards. Scoundrel allows you to A+Space into boards and will completely dominate games, so watch out for removal like Bullseye.

If you want to practice your combat skills and have a good shot at getting to masters, this is your deck.

Questions you're probably going to ask in the comments:

Why not play Dinosaur Nest? There are so many must-kill relics in expedition that everyone is playing an abundance of relic removal, us included. Without Aegis, I don't think it's worth it.

What about that new Promo, Exodus? I do actually think that card is fine and could be good in a deck like this, but here is the issue: you absolutely need to play Ankle Cutter in this meta, and to my surprise, Ankle Cutter's kill effect hurts ALL units with lifesteal and endurance, including yours. This anti-synergy stops you from playing Exodus, Solux, Blinding Radiance, and so many more things. (I think this should be changed, but that's just me.)

Praxis Duster? Why not play Arcanum's True Heart or (insert other 4-drop here): First, Arcanum's True Heart is not good, which is sad because it's a sweet card. It just starts too small, doesn't grow fast enough, doesn't block, has no evasion, and more. Secondly, Praxis Duster is actually quite good for aggressive decks. It's more or less a 6/6 charge or a 6/6 ambush for 4, which is pretty good for beatdown.

Have fun climbing :)

With the recent changes, I've been trying to ditch the Ankle Biters, Bullseyes, and Lost and added 4 Temple Looters, 4 Oni Inciters, the 4th Fist and 2 Display of Passions.

The Temple Looters are another good thing with the deadly charge, and I like being able to shoot Black Books.

What do you think about Cleave for Bullseye just for straight up relic removal.

Great to see this. I saw Praxis Duster and thought there had to be some sort of Praxis aggro deck it could fit into but wasn't able to work out what it should look like. Looking forward to taking this for a spin!

Nice deck! I was initially skeptical, but it got me down about 100 ranks in Masters, and very few games felt out of reach. I think your card choices are well thought out - in particular, Praxis Duster is a of stroke genius that won me a lot of games.. The only change I'd suggest is changing Lost in Thought for Cloudscraper - I think Lost in Thought is just too low impact, and the Scraper can kill nastier flying units, which can be a pain.
Edit: Field Medic is insane against other aggressive decks - it has won me many games against Stonescar in particular.

I think Cloudscraper could definitely be fine. I liked Lost in Thought for the meta I was experiencing, as it helped me with aggressive hands and keeping people off their units.

And yes, Praxis Duster has no business being as good as it is. Glad the deck worked out!
