Hey everyone, here’s a new shift/sacrifice that’s killing on the ladder right now. Just made Master’s with a 15-5 record over the past 20 games, ending in a 5-win run in Diamond I getting me there.
The general gameplan is to get as many
Quake Titans into play as possible, recurring and Shifting them with
Remembrance and
Reweave.
Camrin, the Fox can make some ridiculous plays with
Madness.
This deck is super fun to pilot and prompts a lot of interesting decisions. Don’t hesitate to sacrifice cards in slightly unfavorable trades or ignore face damage if you see a path to recurring a couple of those quakey bois. Always be on the lookout for lethal; I’ve finished more than a couple of games by Reweaving a
Tripwire Grenadin into a second one for three damage, or using
Remembrance on a
Stonepowder Alchemist for that last two damage. Just keep pinging your opponent and whittle them down bit by bit.
The dream is to get three
Quake Titans in the void and then play an
Uldra, Veilripper to deal a smooth 15 damage. Usually, all your opponent has are sweepers to take care of all the Shifted units, which just ends up with Uldra pulling the
Quake Titans back out for more damage.
Special thanks to Gaelnico who absolutely destroyed me with their original version of this deck, which prompted me to roll my own.
Good luck out there, foxy brewers!
but id say Vishni is kinda essential if you want to reach masters with this deck
id also say its worth it, since this deck is super fun to play :)
Although I haven't tried crafting the kraken yet. Do you think it's worth it's weight in shift for this deck?
-replace Tripwire Grenadin with Vishni or another Shift unit
- Move Uldra to market slot and replace Kerendon Merchant with Cen Waste Smuggler or Hidden Road Smuggler for more utility
- Replace Quarry with Sporefolk to increase your chances of Shift units in the void
To be honest, I've been running into some troubles with this one since Trials of Grodov came out but it can still work. Let me know if you make changes and how they work out!
Additionally, as mentioned previously, the face aegis is a problem.
I also am running into too many situations where I accumulate non-kill spells and power and not enough units early on (hand full of rememberance, reweave, madness, power cards, and maybe one torch and slay with too few units), while other times I go power dead (start with 2 or 3 power and go on a dry spell on power card draws, and may have an influence problem on some of the cheaper cards).
Finally, running into problems with running out of cards since there is no replacement. If I didn't get enough quake titan and/or reweave, seem to be having trouble finishing them.
It's really fun when it works but unfortunately I think it is too inconsistent and too much counter to it. Not having much success after 20 games (8-12 record)
Hi my friend, I'm glad you liked the deck, it's really fun to play and quite unexpected, I'm still trying to make it more stable, I like the changes you've made, initially it was a deck just for fun, but it turns out Be very competitive in ladder.
Thank you!
Vara theoretically deals with it, but in a deck like this she's a magnet for vanquish. Unless you play a raw titan, she'll probably be the target of their first vanq.
I might just need to pilot better, but that seemed to be an extremely rough matchup.
