Information

This deck is based on Rank 1 "Classic" Champ/Drake Stonescar.. I made a few changes based on the current meta (August/September 2024) and in particular I've changed the way to access the market via Caravan Delivery, while using Scavenger Scraps to take advantage of passive hunting mechanic.

You may want to have at lest three power cards in your first hand, because you have to be ready for turn 3 to play Rhysta, Acantha's Herald if you ran out of power. There is no other way to fix your power apart from hunting an enemy's power card.

Both Scavenger Scraps and Hidden Garrote will help removing aegis when needed. A good strategy could be to start the game playing Murgo the Bone Guy at turn 2 and then Scavenger Scraps at turn 3. Another possible strategy is to keep Battlefront Dasher and play Scavenger Scraps beforehand in order to hunt twice with Murgo at turn 3.

At turn 4 you can consider playing Raniya, Miviox Maniac using her contract ability but use it wisely to clean the board if possible because you need to save your power for closing at turn 5-6. Using Raniya without activating the contract ability is also a good choice in several scenarios, because you will have a way to regain hit points by killing units and it can easily win your games, so keep it on the board as much as possible.
In the same turn you might be able to play either Vicious Highwayman or Syl's Stronghold. If the former cannot remove any unit it's normally better to play the site and keep playing its spells for free in the next turns.

At turn 5/6 you should be able to play one of the two Dragons (Soulfire Drake or Inferno Phoenix) that should help you close the game if everything goes well, otherwise you will give all the other units in your decks either fly or charge.

This deck suffers against relic-based decks but I haven't found a cost effective strategy to remove relics with Stonescar, apart from using Bore. The problem is that with the current meta you need 6-8 power to remove the huge amount of relics that you can easily have to face. IMHO Direwolf devs should revert the nerf on Bore they introduced long ago, because in the meantime they added several units that add relics for free. If you have any idea for an effective counter-strategy when facing relic-based decks (also filling the board with lots of rats) it would be great.

Would you mind commenting on the purpose of wyatts junkyard in the market ?
sentenza Edited Eternal Version: 24.06.19
Essentially you play Wyatt's Junkyard site to fetch cards from your void using Smuggler's Stash. The perfect scenario would be after a removal spell that killed all your units. That site is something to use in a very specific situation, otherwise you should get Inferno Phoenix either to hit the opponent badly or to give all your other units a buff.

Any particular reason you are not going for Execution Pit (in the maindeck)
Bradifer Eternal Version: 24.06.19
Could try Passionate Stonehammer or Blackhall Warleader over scavenger scraps.
Power fixing or another snowball 2 drop.
Execution pit main over annihilate gives you more flexible removal but no instant speed tricks.
Have fun :D

Adding Execution Pit to the main deck. I'm also considering your other suggestions. Thanks ;)
