The saga continues as we change another faction in the Omni tempo deck. This time taking over the classic Elysian Spells deck.
So far, I would say that this Elysian version and the
Hooru version have felt the best.
The Skycrag version was enjoyable, but a bit less strong.
Some interesting elements of this version of the deck, that slot in so well with the existing core shell of Elysian spells:
The Seedtender- This card has generally overperformed as I leaned into it further with card choices in all the versions of the deck. In this version however, with
Wump & Mizo being able to target The Seedtender
Haven Augur - Holy smokes does
Wump & Mizo grow Augur. The two cards work together so well, but obviously note that opponents get to play snowballs, so don't have a 1/1 augur.
Check-Raise - Less good in this version. With
Master Conjurer and some other interactions, together with adding more spells that react to things, check raise falls off a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes down more or is replaced for something more relevant - maybe adding a counterspell in the market instead.
Numbers are still shifting around a bit, so I will also update this posting if something changes. Though I'm likely going to go back to messing around to nonsense combo decks soon for the rest of the ladder season.
