A new version of me and buddies Echo Makto deck, where the only goal is to stall out until we can play Pathfinder with Makto hopefully in the deck still. The deck is largely a removal pile designed for draw go. The market probably needs some work.
Crack the Earth - Provides a chump blocker and our way into market.
Defiance - Slows down or kills early threats.
Alessi's Choice - Here for testing, but potentially strong removal. Better than Vanquish.
Just Desserts - I don't have much experience with this card, but I know it's annoying.
Send an Agent - Unit or Relic removal.
Display of Vision - Multitool for aggro sweeping, attachment removal or power fixing.
Slay - Much better as a fast spell, deal with enemy units or protect Makto.
Vara's Authority - See: Yetis. Crownwatch Paladin.
A New Beginning - Decks like this have a problem top decking too many power, and I feel like this greatly helps.
Necessary Measures - Removal or mostly for grabbing Makto or Pathfinder
Nothing Remains - Affordable board wipe, no more Ephemeral Wisp. Do not play this with your own Makto out.
Harsh Rule - Traditional board wipe.
Inquisitor Makto- Give him echo, or play him if you can get him killed without him getting silenced. Worst case scenario, you can put him on the bottom of your deck with Grodov's Burden.
Stronghold's Visage - Recover from not doing anything all game.
The Speaking Circle - This is a good card to distract your opponent, it seems like everyone hates this card enough to stop beating face and do anything in their power to kill it. Keep it safe, and this will probably be your win-con most of the time.
Elysian Pathfinder - Gives Inquisitor Makto Echo. Costs a lot.
Market is still under review.
The ideas of it are
Confiscate - Problem attachments or weapons.
Grodov's Burden - The main purpose of this relic here is Bury the Past, with the addition of non-restrictive card draw.
Shen-Ra Speaks - Against opposing Maktos or just backup board wipe.
Vital Arcana - Life gain, card draw.
Xenan Temple - Good against revenge units or digging for answers. This is a flex slot for sure.
