Armory is back, and so am I.
Fairly straightforward deck where you pretty much just try to spend your power each turn and hope your cards are better than their cards. To aid this,
Rakano Artisan,
Syl's Stronghold,
Gift of the Auric Bank make your cards better.
Scornful Elite,
Lunar Claw,
Black Book, Pit Boss make your opponent's cards worse.
Win by attacking face with your units and/or attacking units with your face. Sometimes you attack units with your (taunt) units and attack face with your face, too.
-Is this deck good?
-Who knows, I haven't played with it enough to tell.
-Why no
Stormhalt Plating?
-The power base is strained enough with SS on 3 and JJ on 4 and needs every single sigil and dual. Plus, good luck getting to 8 on 29 power.
-Doesn't this have multiple unwinnable matchups?
-Part of the nostalgia.
-Isn't the normal midrange version of this deck, without
Rakano Artisan and so many relic weapons, with a less strained power base not needing JJ, just better?
-But not as fun.
-Why?
-Why not?
-Nostalgia.
-The actual reason: I'm trying to beat
Plunk Wumpkin,
Give Chase,
Rickety Ramcart, as well as the sweeper decks that try to do so, and noticed that a lot of cards in this list are good against those. The rest was inevitable.
