This is an aggro deck based around Frenzy synergies, attempting to swing for big numbers very early in the game and finish off with burn.
Yeti Pugilist is an unassuming card, but because the Frenzy can be triggered more than once per turn, it can easily swing for huge numbers on turn 2 with cards like
Lutestrung Bow,
Trick Throw, and
Warning Shot. The deck also plays
Rakano Anarchist, and although I've not been as impressed with it so far, it still presents a strong early board presence that demands an answer, and is hard for Parliament Elder or Magniventris to safely block. And sometimes, people will remove the Anarchist instead of Pugilist, and then get smacked for 10 on the nexst turn, heehe.
Gareth, Veteran Lantern is an excellent card in this deck, triggering Frenzy on repeated turns and allowing the deck to easily clear away blockers. His ability applies to all sources of damage, so you can use other damage from hand to exhaust multiple units at once.
Torq, Ballistics Crafter is another strong piece that gives us an extra snowball to trigger Frenzy, can buff our Plunk and Pugilist's attack, and can buff the damage of all burn spells.
Surveying the Rift helps reload our hand nicely when needed, and if Pugilist is on the board can draw into a massive number of Frenzy triggers to play in one turn, or a Warning Shot to play on the same turn. The deck never wants more than 4 power, so the downside is meaningless.
I've only just built this deck today, so I'm not sure the correct numbers on these cards yet or how best to play it properly. So far, it's done respectably on ladder, going 6-5 in Diamond, and that's with me making several misplays. The deck makes some difficult decisions and is interesting to pilot, I think.
Oh and the most important thing about this card is its consistent with the yeti theme! :D
Also it can get triple value out of bonus spell damage from Torq!
