This is trying to maximize the chance to draw minotaurs and weapons with Tavrod, Auric Broker, give them +5 strength, then Yisha, the Equalizer will make their health match.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Looove the deck and idea! I'm running a modified version to lots of fun and success in gold: Tavrod... and it gets worse I took the engine of this deck and put it in more of an Argenport Control shell - to get more card selection and board control - and it's been awesome! SO fun to get 5/5 Platemakers, and the two Amilli I put in feel awesome, both as a 5/8 and an 8/8. Try it out if you want, it's very consistent!
Note that I only had enough dust to craft 3 Blackhall Warleader. I definitely think there should be 4, and maybe only 3 Defiance or Vanquish.
Love the deck, very similar to first one I made once I got equalizer, since Auric Sentry (for Gauntlet), Auric Runehammer, and tavgod came to mind!
As far as improvements, or at least what I found to work better:
1) The seek powers aren't really needed. Curve tops out at 5 (except market) and it's a 2 faction with insignias, so influence isn't a problem.
--- The shard can go , too rare that it's more important than another market choice.
2) Therefore I took them out and put in some of these cards (you can experiment with which work for you)
- For Gauntlet I stuck Spiteful Strike in there. One of my fave shadow cards for gaunt. AI will use a whole bunch of units to take out a high Hp one of yours , and taking them all out without your unit dying, and with life gain , is frickin sweet since AI doesn't understand bluffing
- Desecrate (or vanquish, annihilate , your choice). 4 slay is great but too often I faced a unit which just had to go - like a "strangers get +3/+3" on a full board, or the "Oni get +2/+2" or whatever, where taking one single unit out made a win.
- Increased my inquisitor swords to 4. This to me is a no brainer since with the beefy units you can get, giving one flying can end the game in a turn or two (especially Minotaur plate maker !)
- I found pristine light hit and miss. You hopefully will have tonnes of over-4-attack units, so the only benefit would be drawing em from void. If you want, harsh rule can clear more, but I actually found that something like malediction, devastating setback, whatever, are great since your beefy units can survive and their smaller ones can't. Still, not saying pristine is bad choice
- Falchion is okay. If I put in spiteful strikes to give some lifesteal (or the Minotaur paladin 3/4 lifesteal) then this can be replaced with something like Stormhalt Knife, since as a market card it has such value ... since if you're behind you can often play it for 0 the same turn you merchant, saves a loss often.
I love Svetya, and aegis are so good for this deck. Still fiddling with things like Dizo's office cuz a kill spell AND giving all units lifesteal is so good. Will keep experimenting.
---------
TL:DR is seek power and if needed some headhunter/porters can go, even the sentries (though they make great blockers VS aggro), shard takes up a market spot, some inquisitor blade, desecrate/killspells, can fit in very well, and at least for Gauntlet some Spiteful Strikes have been lifesavers many times already.
Love the deck, would be interested in your results with these changes .
With 6 available power and a merchant in my hand, Pristine Light gives me the chance to attack with everything because even if any of my units die, I can draw them back.
This is very useful as you want to always be attacking with Tavrod and Blackhall Warleader.
I like it's Onslaught ability just as much as the mass vanquish effect.
Sure. I'm still totally experimenting so I can't say this will be the fi version , but here's what I'm using . The amili's are a test, can be very potent and great for blocking/antiAir, and there are still so many minotaurs that I get at least one each Tavrod attack.
I do run Stormhalt Knife in my other decks, and maybe I will here eventually. But the equalizer effect on Lethrai Falchion is something I wanted to test. Playing it on an Auric Sentry has just wrecked aggro decks that depend on Stun / Exhaust / Obliterate.
Yeah sentry is very useful for certain types of games. Dodges torch, vanquish, pristine, devastating setback, etc. Also can give some free warcries often!
Still, 3 drops and 4 drops are very key here. I'm trying some real experimental decks now where I'll throw in 2 ofs instead of only 4's (such as, 2 sentry and 2 paladin instead of 4 of either)
I've thrown devastating setback in the market, has been great so far.
As ornate today I'm gonna try running win best merchant so I can have the equalizer in there with 3 in maindeck. He's really key. Would take the spot of shard.
If I have the energy I'll make an updated version and post a link here.
I'd skip on Auric Sentry and Shard, I don't think you want to run cards that are only good if they get buffed. My version of the deck has Urchins and Press-Gang, it gives you more ability to handle grindy games.
Thanks for your suggestions, DocTam. I really appreciate the detailed advice.
I did try Press-Gang (with only Headhunter) previously, but I found that I usually wanted to cast my other 4 cost units (Yisha and Platemaker) instead. Urchins are not green (for Svetya) or minotaur (Tavrod). I guess I enjoy synergy over raw power (which is likely wrong, but more personally enjoyable)/
I feel that Sentry can still be useful against aggro, and Shard works well with the rest of my deck (as a backup to Yisha).
Threw together a new deck and thought u might wanna check it out. Not as innovative as your Minotaurs deck but it's working really well for me - mainly for ranked / PVP but works well for Gauntlet too.
If you feel like trying it lemme know your thoughts
I am working on the exact same concept. I was trying her with Dawnwalker too. I'm starting to feel like the deck needs to be made without her as a bonus and not as a focus. If I keep counting on drawing her, I keep losing. I'm running 4 harsh rule, grinva from omens, and some void recursion like dark return and auric reclaimer to shore up Tavrod's dumps too.
Have you tried with a Shard of the Spire in the market? This should give you 8 chances to get the equalize effect.
Also, I feel that you should design your deck to still function without any one card. Even though the Yisha in this deck is really helpful, Tavrod can also add +5 strength to many of the cards in this list.
By the way, there is a decent amount of void hate now (maybe due to the new Uldra, Veilripper). So Dawnwalker might have a hard time. This is also the reason why I have no Dark Returns in my deck.
If I were to try a Combrei (with no Shadow) equalizer deck with Yisha and Dawnwalker. I would also include Crownwatch Press-Gang and Reweave. Press-gang can get Yisha, and Dawnwalker can get merchants, Valkyrie Enforcer, etc.
Grinva, Judge of Battles does not feel good enough. Sometimes, you play him, and your opponent can play a 2 power spell to remove him and there is no lasting effect from him. For 7 power, I like get value (like Telut or big Svetya) that last even if my opponent removes it.
Have you thought about using Stormhalt Knife? 10/10 relic weapon for 0 sounds nice.
Also, something I noticed is that Svetya doesn't seem to buff that many units in the deck, I think Martyr's Chains might be a better choice for a high-cost finisher.
What would you suggest I remove so I can add Stormhalt Knife?
Svetya costing 1 less is easier to play, and she only misses Blackhall Warleader and Auric Interrogator. The aegis she gives to both Tavrod and Yisha has been helpful.

The Defiance, Annihilate, Cull the Deck and Valkyrie Enforcer have been really nice.
Thank you for sharing your list!
I haven't tried it myself and your 4 slot is pretty full, but Streetwise Informant also seems like it would fit really well here.

I forgot to add Stormhalt Knife into market. It can save the game so often by playing it free same turn as the merchant.
Do share any updates you make.
