Or more like Jokes on You.
Yea your typical project stuff playing typical project cards.
Let's break it down.
Spells :
Seek Power : Obviously a placeholder to
Seek Refuge, but I wonder how many players are braindead when they come to netdecking.
Creation Chant : Obviously an upgrade to
Seek Power, I wonder why people would unironically play
Seek Power in a Project deck. Kinda important to
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter and
Alessi, Combrei Archmage, and the Invoke is sometimes useful.
Torch : Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch is Torch.
Pause for Reflection : Doesn't even protect your Project, only clowns play it.
Crack the Earth : Yea the card is cracked.
Powercell : Last spell in the deck, decay is sometimes useful against
Hojan, Crownbreaker or
Dawnwalker. Also activates banners which is quite uncommon for a spell.
Units :
Alessi, Combrei Archmage : Grows when you play spells, however I can't find a way to have the powerbase play Alessi on turn 1. Still good especially in surprise lethal with
Rapid Development.
Desert Marshal : Much better than
Valkyrie Enforcer in this deck in terms of both synergy and powerbase compatibility.
Auralian Supplier : Your First-Handed Golem that has literally no building cost except to go first.
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter : This deck can afford to play extra sigils for the sole reason that you can replay Jekks.
Saber-Tooth Prideleader : In this deck you can have 8 copies of relic removal by only running 4 maindeck, so makes it worth as both anti aggro tool and relic removal. Ambush is just generally good in this deck.
Riftfeeder Wasp : Bad unit, but I don't have shiftstone for
Naoki, Valiant Warrior. The good thing is that (it draws your top powers to improve draws, oh nevermind) draws sigils for
Jekk, Mercenary Hunter. Replaying it also has uses such as setting up a large handsize to bluff on your ladder opponents that never read what your cards do.
Relics :
The Creation Project : What else do you expect?
Market :
Ark of Sol : The card is cracked.
Cloudscraper : The card to go for in an unknown matchup, Inscribe is useful, ability is useful, stats is useful.
Inferno Phoenix : This fried chicken may come in handy when you are hungry in a stall game.
Rapid Development : Jokes on Kira decks, this is the ultimate burst / finisher card of the game.
Rift Disaster : A flex slot, you can consider playing any wrath effects but the name of this card accurately reflects the nature of this deck.
Sling players can go rot in hell.
