This is a list I have been playing for much of last season and this season in order to climb. I am normally a mid masters player and this deck has played extremely well against the current meta.
This deck is more aggressive than a lot of Xenan lists with
Hexavore and Cykalis, The Burning Sand functioning as really efficiently costed units that can block Skycrag while also threatening Hoorru. The four drop slot is flexible, and differing numbers of
Sandstorm Titan, Twinned Spriteling, and Baby Vara can be added depending on the decks you are facing. Titan nukes Feln while Spriteling is Obnoxious to deal with for aggro and control a like to deal with alike. The market could probably be better, and I'm sure it needs better answers to
The Creation Project, and I'd love suggestions on different cards for it. This deck has a surprising amount of card advantage, and
Huntmaster Vikrum still needs a nerf (seriously this card is absurd at 4 mana). if you want a relatively straight forward deck to climb with this is a great pick, and the entire deck is packed with five star cards.
Vine Grafter is a sick card and the deck has really awesome play patterns that require some learning.
Exploit is absurd, but
Dinosaur Nest is almost always better on turn two. The sooner you get to nine power for two mana, the better. Exploit is still absolutely busted and helps insulate the deck against bad draws and other difficult to beat cards such as Project.
Banish hits everything right now, and is my favorite piece of interaction in Eternal at the moment.
Curtain Call deep-fries Hooru AND Skycrag, but is awful when behind and therefore limited to three copies.
Hexavore blocks super well right now, and is insane in the mirror, as is
Moonstone Vanguard, and I almost want to swap Ahled Ascending for
Teacher of Humility. The latter wins games on its own sometimes, but this requires further testing. Ahled is almost never a dead draw, and may warrant playing more
Time Symbol.
The power base is built for Time Influence, while maximizing undeleted power sources.
Time Sigil is surprisingly good right now, and playing more is actually super viable.
Xenan Cylix could be added, would probably be pretty good, but the number of two drops honestly favors sigils. You want to mulligan for two drops, and they all serve an important role.
Send an Agent underperforms in this meta, but hitting Nest in the mirror is game winning. This deck manages to get under
Katra, The First Seal while also applying pressure with
Eavesdrop and
Xenan Temple.
Minotaur Lighthoof is sometimes clunky as a Project answer, and maybe
Disjunction is better for this. This deck is clean, attacks everything super well, and this is probably the best deck behind Four Color Project at the moment.
