Information

So The Creation Project is completely insane and I’m having a ton of fun brewing with it.

I’ve found a go wide tokens strategy I’m really happy with and it’s been performing amazingly in Gauntlet. It feels very versatile to me and is able to win from many different board states - I find it to both be a great aggro deck as well as an amazing grinder.

CORE

The Creation Project - No duh. Even when we don’t draw this card the deck still works, but this just turns everything up to 11. Pumps our tokens and allows us to continually “draw” gas.

Grumbo, Tota Legend - Grumbo is fantastic in this deck. He can get massive due to all the tokens and the life gain definitely helps in both races and when the board is staled.

Elham, Keen-Eyed - I’ve always liked this card and have tried them out in a few different brews, but they are amazing here. The shield helps with races and also can lead to massive Furious Compulsion attacks, and their ability is an MVP in board stalls where you can keep making a 10/10 every turn and throw it into their defenses.

GOING WIDE

Dinosaur Nest - I am sure I don’t have to explain why this card is in the deck, right?

Auralian Infestation - I was using Grenadin Rescue but the damage from Rescue is incidental while the 1 power difference is huge, not to mention you are getting units that are deadly. I often play the shifted mode of this card to double Grumbo and Elham triggers, but in a pinch getting an immediate deadly blocker can be super useful. Would love to figure out a way to get 4 in here.

Alessi, Combrei Archmage - Alessi is a solid 1 drop, and is the reason we are playing Infestation over a 1-drop unit. There aren’t a ton of ways to buff Alessi in the deck but there are enough where she becomes a consistent threat.

Furious Magniventris - Still one of the better cards in gauntlet IMO, the stun leads to super swingy attacks and the shield we get from Elham can lead to this thing becoming massive. It is also buffed by Dinosaur Nest.

SUPPORT

Praxis Adept - We do want the extra power and the Adept is fantastic in this deck, as getting Creation Project down on 2 is nuts AND it pumps our Adept to allow us to swing with it and get the extra power.

Logistics Expert - I do think we want the 8 +1 power cards and while this isn’t as good as Adept, it can be a solid draw late game due to the buff.

Auralian Supplier - You can find yourself in some tricky situations where you are drawing cards that have warp or you find yourself with more cards in hand than the opponent due to you warping all your power in, but this card is totally bonkers and amazing in the deck.

Powercell - The deck is very power hungry in the early and mid game so getting your Grumbo and Elham triggers in while also giving you a power burst (which triggers Alessi) is super helpful. Not to mention the decay on this helps when attacking into big fliers or blocking big attacks.

Desert Marshal - just a good card, and the cost is easier on the deck than Valkyrie Enforcer

Breach The Defenses - This is one of my favorite cards in gauntlet and I think is a worthwhile inclusion here, mainly because it counters Permafrost and can kill some of the 3 toughness threats the gauntlet opponents have running around.

MARKET

We are running a 5 power market as Crack the Earth is the best market card I’ve found for the deck so far, as it gives us a unit and is a 1 cost spell. I’ve considered playing a smuggler here or changing to a 3 cost market, but right now I’m liking crack the earth.

The market needs work. While it has a sweeper, it doesn’t really have a lot of answers and I’ve found I’m only really going to it to break up a board stall or in a “win more” situation. That’s why I’m only running the 2 market access cards.

Inferno Den is quasi removal and is great closing speed as all your units get charge. You can also steal out until you run through all the modes and then it’s basically an insta-win.

Gates of Hope actually has been solid as stunning a unit when it comes down is helpful and it provides card advantage and can buff a unit massively. The shield is provides helps as well.

Shen-Ra Speaks I haven’t actually cast yet but I think you need a sweeper.

Krogar, Burdened Hero - I’m not loving this selection. It’s a good card, I like the life gain but I haven’t found it super useful.

Ark of Sol - I have used this a few times after playing a turn 1 Crack the Earth but not sure how truly useful it is.

CLOSING

The two aspects of the deck I have been toying with are swapping out a unit (probably Furious Magniventris) for Sandstorm Titan as we are definitely weak to flyers, and exploring the market. I have found we don’t really need a ton of removal in this deck as we both go wider and bigger than our opponents so Breach The Defenses is a potential cut as we usually clear blockers by attacking into them and getting one unit permafrosted isn’t the end of the world.

Right now I really like how the deck is playing. I’d love any feedback or thoughts.

Great concept but I think it needs some tuning. The 2-3ofs could use some cleanup.

Exodus and Naoki are the best answers to Permafrost (depending on Crescendo/Crack market). If you want a maindeck answer, it's Exodus.
You're running all the support for Abundance, so why not play it? Magni is a great card (thoughi prefer SST generally) but I don't think it fits in this deck.

Thanks for the comment!

I actually haven’t found permafrost to be that big of a deal so I think I’m gonna cut the breaches to fix the 2 3 of situation you are talking about.

I tried with abundance, maybe I will test it again - I just found it’s kind of situational, sometimes it’s amazing and sometimes it’s a dead draw.

Naoki would be awesome in this deck, I don’t have but will craft.

Do you have any market suggestions?
